Art direction and mockup for "See It In Black & White" story in HGTV Magazine.

My initial sketches (see bottom of page) were rooted in the story concept, “Black & White Art.” Following a conversation with the home editor about elevating the look and moving away from a funkier feel, I created a shoot-day mockup. On set, I helped paint the black slatted background, install shelves and artwork, and worked closely with the photographer to align on shooting height and overall composition.
